After years of working alongside school aged children with behavior challenges, I quickly learned the importance of meaningful learning experiences from an early age. I became passionate about social emotional learning and found that play paired with learning activities help expose young minds to vocabulary, new ideas, moments of connection, and creative thinking. Exposure to these things build strong foundations for a child’s ability to handle the world around them. I found great success in my classroom and now as a new mom, look forward to build these foundational blocks with my daughter. However, the start of my mom journey quickly taught me how overwhelming it can be to create meaningful play experiences for my daughter, especially with all the other responsibilities life brings. With my expeirences a Special Education Resource teacher, my minor in English for Second Langugage Learners, my Masters in Education-curriculum and instruction, and my new title of mom I brought to life my dream of creating a box that would be easy and ready-to-use for caregivers to help start build those foundational blocks with their own children. I feel passionate about the product we are bringing to the market and hope you enjoy creating memories with your children as I have with mine!

A few years ago while homeschooling my oldest, I had twin toddlers underfoot that asked for constant attention. I was desperate to find a solution that benefitted all of us while we were learning. Cue the magic of sensory play! I started incorporating a sensory box into our daily routine and was amazed at how it changed our days! Not only did sensory play hold my littles' attention for longer periods of time, but I loved watching their curiosity, problem solving, and imaginative play develop along with their skills--grabbing, scooping, squeezing tweezers, etc. I was witnessing pure learning magic! I'm passionate about learning and creating activities and opportunities that encourage exploration, curiosity, and creativity. My dream is to share this sensory magic with you, as you use this box to teach, play with, and connect with your little.

Active learning engages the brain and body. This productive method for little to learn encourages open-ended play, movement, and problem soliving. As your little explores through the five senses their brain and body will learn new concepts and methods of play.
